The 2020 MY HERO International Film Festival is proud to award 1st Place Women's Rights to "Oumy" by Oumy Cisse.
This is a film about Oumy, a junior high student from Dakar, Senegal. Oumy speaks about her pursuit of education and the hardships that women in her country face.
Cheikh Darou Seck was the mentor for this project.
