Description
Imagine returning home to find your sister has become a shadow on the wall. When 12-year-old Jubilee saw a shadow of a girl jump-roping seared into an apartment wall the day we dropped a bomb on Hiroshima, she imagined what it would have been like to be this girl’s sister, and how it would have felt to see your sister tattooed on a wall. Because we tend to ignore tragedies that befall faceless people, it is art that illuminates where we go wrong.
